The reconstruction of the ceremonial multipurpose hall of the covered marked in Avallon, France was undertaken in two stages.

The first stage consisted mainly of demolition work and the reconstructionof the entrance to the hall – the foyer.
In the second stage the reconstruction of the entire hall was finished, the most important aspect of which was overlaying the hall with OBERSOUND acoustic tiles. These tiles are especially recommended for music halls with high requirements for acoustic resonance. In order to fulfill the required norms and technical conditions it was necessary to choose tiles that fulfilled the acoustic requirements as well as ones arising from the aesthetic
requirements of the hall. The use of this natural tiling material creates a pleasant environment.
We also refit the visible facing brickwork around the perimeter of the hall, parts of the entrance stairways, the area behind the stage and the part of the foyer with the bar.
The expertly executed restoration work succeeded in reinvigorating the natural color of the bricks, the bands of brickwork and the chinks in the brickwork.
A completely new element added to the foyer is the interior bar with its modern design which is used to serve the concert goers during organized social and cultural events. With its size and robust design it is able to handle the requirements of the capacity and use of the ceremonial hall.
