State Castle Zvíkov (NHM) – Repair of the North perimeter wall of the female part of the castle

The National cultural monument Zvíkov Castle is an outstanding example of the Czech medieval architecture. Establishment of the Castle took place in the first half of the 13th century during the rule of Wenceslas I (1230-1253). Zvíkov as the Royal property had a role of a military fortress in particular. The Castle obtained the greatest glory in the 14th century during the rule of Charles IV. (1346-1378), when was Zvíkov thoroughly renovated. Until the construction of the Karlštejn Castle was completed, Zvíkov served as a temporary sanctuary for the Crown Jewels.

State Castle Krakovec - Dehumidification of basement masonry and repair of polygonal staircase of the Castle West wing

GEMA performed for the National Heritage Institute renovation of existing two staircases in the building of the State Castle Krakovec.
Originally a medieval stronghold, rebuilt to the Castle, has remain without the original roofs in torso state.  The internal spaces of the basement of the West wing contain extremely valuable fragments of the cross-vaults and some details from the original construction of the Castle, that deserve maximum protection.

State Castle Krásný Dvůr – Renovation of external staircases

Based on the award of the National Heritage Institute the GEMA carries out the renovation of the existing two staircases in the State Chateau Krásný Dvůr (Beautiful Courtyard). The external staircases, which are the subject of the contract, are linking the Castle first and second floor.

Reconstruction of a retaining wall of the U.S. Embassy, Prague

Works commenced on the reconstruction of the historical enclosure walls separating the U.S. Embassy from the Petřín Park. The Colloredo (Schönborn) Palace was created between the years 1643 and 1656 as a comprehensive early Baroque conversion, modified probably by Jan Blažej Santini-Aichel in 1715.

Conservation and restoration of metal elements in a waste water treatment plant, Prague

The flooding in 2013 caused damage to the building of the Old Waste Water Treatment Plant in Bubeneč, especially to the underground engineering premises of the plant and its equipment, parts and accessories. The works are funded from the "Preservation and restoration of cultural monuments damaged by natural disasters" programme.
