Within the framework of the project “Revitalization and Regeneration of the town of Jílové” several improvements were made to the town’s provisions for social and cultural activities and to its appearance.
Stone walls around the town’s castle complex were reconstructed, the stairs to the castle and castle park were rebuilt, the children’s playground was renovated and new sports’ facilities were added. The Mírové (Peace) Square was given a makeover, including installation of two fountains by the artist Tomáš Rafl of GEMA ART GROUP a.s.
